Paulsen Vote Tracker: H.J. Res. 41

Providing for congressional disapproval of a rule relating to Disclosure of Payments by Resource Extraction Issuers

SUMMARY:  This resolution nullifies the rule mandated under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.  The rule required resource extraction issuers (oil and gas companies) to disclose payments made to governments for the commercial development of oil, natural gas, or minerals.

Paulsen voted to disapprove the rule

TAKEAWAY:  Paulsen again puts corporate interests over those of the people by voting to dismantle the protections put in place by the Dodd-Frank Protection Act.
