Sen. Ron Latz: “My Minnesota” Tour Kick Off in St. Louis Park

Dear Neighbors,

This Monday, July 31st from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) Commissioner Myron Frans will launch the statewide tour of “My Minnesota” at the Oak Hill Park (Park Shelter) in St. Louis Park!

As Commissioner of MMB, Myron Frans is the chief financial officer, chief accounting officer, state controller, and head of human resource and employee insurance for over 50,000 employees. He is a very knowledgeable and active advisor to the executive branch on all matters related to the state budget.

“My Minnesota”, starting in our own community (!!!), will be an excellent chance for Minnesotans to hear from the Commissioner, local and state leaders about how the state budget impacts local communities. Discussion will be about fostering partnerships with local governments and the value of these relationships.

Joining the Commissioner and me will be St. Louis Park Mayor Jake Spano, Representative Peggy Flanagan, Representative Cheryl Youakim and Secretary of State Steve Simon.

This is a great opportunity to meet with local elected officials, share your thoughts on state issues, and enjoy a Summer evening in the park. Oak Hill Park address: 3201 Rhode Island Ave S, St. Louis Park, 55426. Please come join us!

          Regards,

          Ron Latz
