Bloomberg report cites progress in Minnesota on renewable energy

A recent report released by Bloomberg New Energy Finance shows that 25 percent of Minnesota’s energy now comes from renewable sources. Minnesota’s Renewable Energy Standard was 25 percent by 2025, which means we reached our goal seven years early. In 2013, I helped to pass Minnesota’s solar standard to increase solar energy use in Minnesota and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.
