Women for Trump official: They’ll riot anyway because they don’t want to miss ‘free ticket for a shopping spree’

On Tuesday, the jury in the trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin handed down multiple convictions of murder and manslaughter for the death of George Floyd — sparking relief all across the country, and triggering joyous celebrations in place of the protests that some officials feared would take place.

But according to Amy Kremer, the co-founder of Women for Trump and the director of the far-right Women for America First, the verdict will not change things, and residents of Minneapolis are still “going to riot regardless” — because they have a “free ticket for a shopping spree.”

Kremer’s comments triggered immediate outrage, with many commenters noting that she clearly meant to imply that Black residents of the city are violent thieves looking for an excuse to steal and loot — and others noting that she had no such words for the people motivated by her “Stop the Steal” rhetoric to violently invade the U.S. Capitol. Host Of Trump’s Jan. 6 Pre-Insurrection Rally Holding ‘Summit’ At His Doral Golf Course

Amy Kremer runs Women for America First, which hosted the rally in front of the White House, and her April event will generate cash for his ailing property.

WASHINGTON ― The woman who hosted the Jan. 6 rally in front of the White House that immediately preceded the deadly insurrection at the Capitol is hosting a “Save America Summit” at Donald Trump’s financially troubled golf course near the Miami airport next month.

Amy Kremer’s Women for America First is selling “general admission” tickets, which include golf and spa discounts as well as a swag bag, for $500, not including hotel rooms. A “Diamond package” goes for $5,000 and includes access to VIPs, among them Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

The four-day event, which starts April 8 and coincides with a Republican National Committee donor retreat 75 miles to the north in Palm Beach, is to focus on “election integrity,” “big tech and censorship,” and the First and Second Amendments.
