We know concerned community members want to help during these difficult times. The Department of Public Safety is asking all local communities to NOT be in the streets tonight, for any reason.

  • The situation has shifted. The coordinated response tonight will be different.
  • The coordinated National Guard, State Patrol, and Law enforcement presence will triple in size – and it continues to grow.
  • This response is to address a sophisticated network of urban warfare. We expect the individuals involved to use deadly force – both with fires and other weapons.
  • A primary tactic they have used is to locate civilians and use them as both shields from law enforcement and distractions to effective response.

Manhunt Underway For Pizzagate Restaurant Arson Suspect

It remains unclear whether the perpetrator embraced the bogus conspiracy theory that targeted the eatery.

The restaurant at the center of the infamous and false Pizzagate conspiracy was targeted in an arson attack in Washington, according to authorities.

According to a Twitter post from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Wednesday incident at Comet Ping Pong has sparked a manhunt for a possible perpetrator, who can be seen in two images released to the public.

The arsonist left behind a handful of charred matches and lighter fluid by a set of curtains he ignited, The Washington Post reported. No injuries occurred and the restaurant’s staff quickly put out the flames.
