Agreement reached between DFL Party & IBEW Local 292
SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA- After several days of contract negotiations, members of the DFL Party Coordinated Campaign voted to ratify a collective bargaining agreement between the DFL Party and IBEW Local 292, the union which will now be representing Party campaign staff.
Ken Martin, Chairman of the Minnesota DFL Party, released the following statement:
“One of the more sacred values of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party is our strong support for the rights of working people to join a union and bargain for better wages and working conditions That’s why I’m extremely proud that our party has reached an agreement with our campaign staff and IBEW Local 292.
