Lindsey Graham caught saying one thing on impeachment to reporters — but then another to Sean Hannity

Sen. Lindsey-Graham (R-SC) got caught talking out of both sides of his mouth after leaving the impeachment trial on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters, Graham advocated for Capitol police to have shot the protesters and killed more of them. 

“I just can’t believe that we could lose the Capitol like that. I got mad. I mean these police officers had every right to use deadly force, they should have used it,” he said.

But when he appeared on Fox News, Graham had a whole other take perfect for Hannity viewers where he blamed Democrats instead. Continue reading.

GOP ‘Unmasking Scandal’ Implodes — Because Flynn Was Never Masked

Another right wing conspiracy theory down the drain.

For days if not weeks the right has insisted various Obama administration officials had targeted former Lt. General Mike Flynn, trying to “unmask” his name from transcripts on intercepted calls with Russian officials.

Graham: It’s “Insane” To Say Republicans Blocked Trial Witnesses

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who voted to block subpoenas for witness testimony in Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, said on Thursday that he considers it “insane,” ridiculous,” and “outrageous” to accuse Republicans of blocking witnesses.

“Of all the insane things being said about this impeachment debacle — and there is a lot to choose from — one of the most ridiculous is to say Senate Republicans are ‘Blocking Witnesses,’” Graham wrote on Twitter Thursday morning. “This is an outrageous claim.”

On Jan. 22, Graham joined his Republican colleagues in the Senate to vote 11 times to reject an attempt by Democratic senators to allow witnesses and documents to be a part of the impeachment trial. Graham voted against subpoenaing testimony from acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney and former national security adviser John Bolton, among others. Continue reading.
