Sarah Sanders is out with a new book on her time in the Trump administration. And as she told ABC News on Tuesday morning, she believes it’s a contrast to the criticism of the president from other former officials.

“It’s really simple,” Sanders said: “I think mine is actually the honest account.”

But in the same interview, she relayed an inexplicably false claim while defending President Trump — as she has many times before. Continue reading.

Sarah Sanders Says Trump and Kim ‘Agree in Their Assessment’ of Biden

President Trump and the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, “agree” in their negative assessment of former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, said on Sunday.

Ms. Sanders, in an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” also defended the president’s approach to efforts to denuclearize North Korea and deflected questions about whether Mr. Trump’s declaration of “treason” had predetermined the outcome of a review of the Russia investigation’s roots.

On Saturday, Mr. Trump seemed gratified that North Korea’s state media had described Mr. Biden, the Democratic candidate he views as the biggest threat to him in 2020, as a “fool of low IQ.”

Sarah Sanders fuels new hostility against the press with ‘Mueller Madness’ tweet

Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted out the names of individual reporters, calling them “haters” of President Trump.

The White House has been celebrating what it views as vindication of President Donald Trump on the Mueller probe by attacking the media harshly.

The move comes amid increasing hostility against journalists from Trump’s staunchest supporters, and as authorities crack down on foiled plots to violently target the members of the press whom Trump himself has called a threat to the country.

Monday night — just one day after Attorney General William Barr delivered his summary of special counsel Robert Mueller’s findings to lawmakers on Capitol Hill — White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted out a graphic from The New York Post containing a “Mueller Madness” bracket of various media pundits who were believed to be biased against Trump. The bracket also included the names of several reporters who had written or reported on the probe.

The West Wing shouting match was so loud that more than a dozen staffers heard it.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders cursed and yelled at White House Counsel Donald McGahn during the February confrontation, according to two people familiar with the episode. Misleading statements about the domestic abuse scandal that felled staff secretary Rob Porter had dragged the administration into a maelstrom of chaos and contradictory public statements.
