SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA – Today, the Minnesota DFL Party is pleased to announce the hiring of Alyse Maye Quade to serve as the party’s Coordinated Campaign Director for the 2022 election cycle. Maye Quade has been with the DFL Party in a variety of roles since 2017 and brings a wealth of experience to her new position.

Prior to joining the DFL Party, Maye Quade was the Midwest Organizing Manager for Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action. Since then, Maye Quade worked as the Field Director for the Coordinated Campaign in 2018 and as the Deputy Campaign Director for the Coordinated Campaign in 2020, where she oversaw their voter protection, coalitions, and get out the vote programs.

The Coordinated Campaign is made up of a coalition of DFL Party-endorsed candidates and partner organizations which pools resources to accomplish the shared goals of each campaign and organization. This typically encompasses field organizing, training, voter turnout and protection, community engagement, opening and running campaign offices across Minnesota, and much more.

Minnesota DFL Party Coordinated Campaign Director Alyse Maye Quade issued the following statement:

“I am extremely excited to be stepping into this new role in such a consequential election cycle. What happens at the ballot box next year will have tremendous ramifications throughout Minnesota, from our recovery from COVID-19 to our basic access to democracy and so much more. There’s a lot of work in front of us, but I know our party and our movement are up to the challenge. We win elections by out-organizing the competition, and that’s exactly what I intend to do at the helm of our Coordinated Campaign.”

Minnesota DFL Party Chairman Ken Martin released the following statement:

“Alyse Maye Quade is an extremely gifted and talented organizer, which is why I am thrilled that she’ll be leading our Coordinated Campaign this election cycle. Alyse ran the Coordinated Campaign’s field organizing program in 2018 when DFLers won every statewide election, flipped two congressional seats, and took back the Minnesota House, and she ran their get out the vote program in 2020 when Minnesota helped deliver the White House to Joe Biden. Alyse’s wealth of experience in running strong, grassroots organizing programs will be a tremendous asset to our party and will help us win up and down the ballot in 2022.”
