In the aftermath of this week’s horrific bombing in Mogadishu, our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected. The victims and their families have our deepest condolences both in Somalia and here in Minnesota. Minnesota is the proud home for America’s largest Somali population. Among the 300 people who lost their lives in this senseless act of violence, at least one Minnesota resident has died. Together, we are heartbroken; together, we must work towards peace.
