Melania Endorses Trump’s Online Bullying Of Teenage Activist

Despite spearheading an anti-bullying campaign, Melania Trump has chosen to give her husband, Donald Trump, a pass for bullying 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg.

Trump attacked Thunberg on Thursday after she beat him out to be named Time magazine’s Person of the Year.

“Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!” wrote Trump.

Melania Trump’s parents would have struggled to come to the U.S. under Trump’s immigration plan

President Trump’s proposed plan to overhaul the U.S. immigration system would have made it more difficult for his in-laws to migrate to the United States.

First lady Melania Trump, who immigrated from Slovenia in 1996 for modeling, likely brought her parents over through a family unification process that Trump wants to limit, immigration experts say.

The president announced Thursday the contours of a plan that would include increasing the percentage of highly skilled immigrants and decreasing the number of those sponsored by family members living lawfully in the United States.

As the government shutdown rages on, it’s not just commercial flying that’s affected; now some members of government are being prevented from flying too.

After House Speaker Nancy Pelosi asked President Donald Trump to delay his State of the Union addressTrump on Thursday blocked Pelosi from using military aircraft for a bipartisan congressional trip to Afghanistan.

In his letter to Pelosi, Trump wrote, “In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate.”

President Trump traveled 250 yards to greet George W. Bush. He used a stretch limo and an eight-vehicle motorcade to make the trip.

President Trump traversed a wide political chasm Tuesday evening when he personally welcomed George W. Bush, his occasional foil, to Blair House, the presidential guest quarters across Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House.

But the actual distance was just 250 yards — a route Trump and his wife Melania traveled in the presidential parade limousine, with a motorcade of at least seven other vehicles.

The Trumps spent 23 minutes visiting with Bush and his wife, Laura, by all accounts a cordial meeting in which the former president exchanged kisses on the cheek with the current first lady at the curb.

President Trump has repeatedly and vehemently denounced what he calls “chain migration,” in which adult American citizens can obtain residency for their relatives.

On Thursday, his Slovenian in-laws, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, became United States citizens in a private ceremony in Manhattan by taking advantage of that same family-based immigration program.

Asked if the Knavses had obtained citizenship through “chain migration,” their lawyer, Michael Wildes, said, “I suppose.”

Reliable Source How Melania Trump’s jacket choice overtook her visit to the Texas border shelters

Melania Trump took a surprise trip to Texas to speak to children and officials at a shelter for migrant children. But her message and the carefully crafted visuals showing a first lady rushing to the scene of a crisis touching the lives of children were soon obliterated by other words and images.

“I’m here to learn about your facility,” Trump said Thursday afternoon, telling the people who run the facility that she wanted to know how she could “help these children to reunite with their families as quickly as possible.” Continue reading “Reliable Source How Melania Trump’s jacket choice overtook her visit to the Texas border shelters”

Watch ‘Fox & Friends’ anchors take apart White House over McCain insult

The following article by Tommy Christopher was posted on the Shareblue.com website May 13, 2018:

Further confirmation from the White House that this administration simply doesn’t care about a snide attack on a senator and war hero.

White House aide Kelly Sadler said Sen. John McCain’s opposition to Trump’s nominee for CIA director didn’t matter because McCain is “dying anyway” was repugnant. In fact, it was so egregious that even the hosts of “Fox & Friends” called it out on live TV.

On Sunday morning’s edition of Trump’s favorite “news” show, guest host Ed Henry pressed White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley hard about the remark.

Henry referenced Melania Trump’s new anti-cyberbullying initiative, and asked Gidley about the dissonance between that and Sadler’s comment.

“When one of your colleagues in the White House communication shop decided, at a meeting, to joke that John McCain’s opinion doesn’t matter because he’s dying of brain cancer, do you think that was kind?” Henry asked.

“Look, I wasn’t in the meeting, I didn’t hear the comment,” Gidley began. When Henry cut him off, noting that he had “heard the comment now,” Gidley again demurred.

“Right, but Ed, I don’t know if the comment was even made or not,” Gidley said.

Henry noted that Sadler has already called McCain’s daughter Meghan to apologize. Gidley then confirmed the implication from press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders that the White House is more troubled by the leak of the comment than by the comment itself.

“Look, those comments, whether they were made or not made, there was some reports in there obviously too about the internal workings of that meeting that just shouldn’t be made public,” Gidley said.

But co-host Abby Huntsman didn’t let him get away with that dismissal.

“Why not just come out and apologize?” Huntsman asked. “Why not just come out and make a statement saying ‘We apologize about this horrific joke,’ simple as that?”

Gidley again tried to cast doubt on whether the comment had been made. And he claimed that any apology was between “Sadler herself and the McCain family.”

During a closed-door meeting with staff, Sanders was also reportedly more upset about the leak than the horrific comment. And at the same meeting, White House spokesperson Mercedes Schlapp reportedly told Sanders and the press team, “You can put this on the record… I stand with Kelly Sadler.”

Now the White House is saying out loud, and in public, what we all already knew. Trump has shown his contempt for the sacrifices of American heroes like John McCain since long before he took office. And he has continued to do so ever since.

And it seems everyone working around him is following his appalling lead.

First Lady Melania Trump released a booklet of “lessons” for children about online behavior as part of her new “Be Best” campaign.

The campaign is intended to “encourage positive social, emotional, and physical habits,” while the booklet released today offers tips about to “help kids act thoughtfully and kindly.”

While the most helpful way to encourage positive online behavior would be banning her husband from Twitter, the pamphlet is inoffensive. Continue reading “Melania Trump Just Released a Pamphlet to Combat Cyber Bullying—The Content Is Copied Verbatim from Obama’s”
